1. About MyMoveMate
MyMoveMate is an online organisational tool designed to help individuals buying and selling residential property in England. It provides stage-by-stage guidance, checklists, a notes log, a property shortlist, and a key contacts directory to help you stay organised throughout your move.
MyMoveMate covers residential property purchases and sales in England only. The guidance, checklists, tax information, and stage content reflect the conveyancing process and taxes that apply in England. Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland each have a different process and a different property transaction tax, and MyMoveMate does not cover them.
MyMoveMate is a product of PM Product Solutions Limited, company number 17155942, registered in England and Wales, whose registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. You can contact us at hello@mymovemate.co.uk. When you purchase MyMoveMate, the charge will appear on your bank or card statement as PM Product Solutions Limited.
MyMoveMate is not a legal, financial, or professional advisory service. Nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice, financial advice, or professional representation. You should always seek independent advice from qualified professionals - including solicitors, mortgage brokers, and surveyors - throughout your property transaction.
2. Eligibility
To use MyMoveMate, you must be at least 18 years old, and MyMoveMate is intended for moves involving residential property in England. You must create an account with a valid email address and a secure password. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately at privacy@mymovemate.co.uk.
3. Pricing and payment
MyMoveMate costs a single one-off payment of £49, following a 14-day free trial. This is not a subscription: the £49 is charged once and never repeats.
You provide valid card details when you start your trial and get full access immediately. No money is taken during the trial. If you have not cancelled by the end of day 14, we take a single £49 payment on day 15 using the card you saved. That payment grants you access to MyMoveMate for the duration of one property move. All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your card details.
4. Cancellation and refunds
When you start your 14-day free trial, you have full access to MyMoveMate immediately. You may cancel at any point before the end of day 14 from your account settings, using the "Cancel trial" option - it takes effect immediately and you will not be charged. You can also cancel by emailing hello@mymovemate.co.uk with the subject line "Cancel trial". Because the £49 is a one-off payment, there is no ongoing subscription to cancel once it has been taken.
One payment covers one active move. Your move is considered active from the date your trial begins until you mark it as either complete or fallen through.
If your move falls through, you may start one new move free of charge within 12 months of archiving the fallen-through move. After 12 months, or if you have previously completed a move, a new purchase is required to start a new move.
Refunds after the £49 charge has been taken are assessed at our discretion. If you believe you have grounds for a refund, contact us at hello@mymovemate.co.uk within 14 days of the charge. We will consider each request fairly but cannot guarantee a refund in all cases.
Your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel a distance contract for digital services. By starting your free trial and accessing MyMoveMate straight away, you expressly request that we begin supplying the service immediately and acknowledge that you will lose that statutory right to cancel once the service has been fully supplied. This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 - including your right to a repeat performance, price reduction, or refund if the service is not supplied with reasonable care and skill - and nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
5. What you can and cannot do
When using MyMoveMate, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when creating your account and using the service
- Use the service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes
- Not attempt to access other users' data or interfere with the service
- Not reproduce, distribute, or resell any part of the service without our written permission
The one exception to personal, non-commercial use is the manually approved Partner pilot described in section 5a below.
5a. Approved Partner pilot users (estate agents)
This section applies only to people at an estate-agency branch whose access we have approved manually for our controlled Partner pilot. Consumer use of MyMoveMate remains personal and is governed by the normal trial and £49 terms above; nothing in this section changes them. These are draft pilot terms and will be reviewed before real agency onboarding.
- Approved agency users may access the private Partner area at /partner solely for the purposes of the controlled pilot.
- You may only use information that a connected client has deliberately chosen to share with your branch.
- You must not attempt to access, infer, export, scrape or combine any information beyond what the Partner dashboard shows you.
- You must not use the service as identity, anti-money-laundering, compliance, legal or financial verification. Client readiness answers are self-reported and are not verified by us.
- You must not make performance claims about MyMoveMate that we have not published and supported.
- You must protect your login, must not share it, and must tell us promptly when someone's access should be removed.
- We may suspend or withdraw Partner access immediately and at our discretion, including at the end of the pilot.
- The pilot is not a CRM, a transaction-management system, or a guaranteed contact-response service. We make no promise that a contact request will be answered, or answered within any period.
- No service levels, availability guarantees or performance outcomes are promised for the Partner area.
- A client's workspace belongs to the client. Accepting an invitation gives your branch no ownership of, or control over, that workspace or its contents, and the client may stop sharing or disconnect at any time.
6. Intellectual property
All content on MyMoveMate - including text, guidance, checklists, questions, design, and branding - is owned by MyMoveMate and protected by copyright and intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the service without our express written consent. The data you enter (notes, contacts, properties) remains yours.
7. Limitation of liability
MyMoveMate is provided "as is" and "as available". While we take care to ensure the guidance and information on the platform is accurate and helpful, we make no warranties or guarantees about its completeness, accuracy, or suitability for your specific circumstances.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyMoveMate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including (but not limited to) any losses relating to your property transaction. Our total liability to you in any circumstances shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the service.
8. Data and privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please read our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data.
9. Termination and data deletion
You may stop using MyMoveMate at any time.
To request full deletion of your account and data, please email privacy@mymovemate.co.uk. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of MyMoveMate shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Contact
If you have any questions about these terms, please contact us at privacy@mymovemate.co.uk.
